The UMass Minutemen face the Ohio Bobcats in their first MAC home game ever on Saturday afternoon. UMass is still looking for their first win as a member of the FBS after moving up this season.
The Minutemen have had a rough start to the year, beginning with three straight blowouts at the hands of major-conference opponents. They put up much more of a fight in their first MAC game, losing 27-16 to Miami (Ohio). Senior running back Michael Cox has led the offense, rushing for 296 yards and two touchdowns.
Ohio remains undefeated at 4-0 after beating Norfolk State last weekend. The Bobcats received 40 votes in the latest AP Top 25 poll, ranking as 29th in the country. Bobcats starting quarterback Tyler Tettleton returns to action after missing the Norfolk State game. He has completed 67 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns and no interceptions on the year.
Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN3
Point spread: Ohio favored by 24.
