UConn Vs. USF 2012: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

The Connecticut Huskies face the South Florida Bulls on Saturday, with both teams winless in the Big East.

The 3-5 Connecticut Huskies face the 2-6 South Florida Bulls on Saturday, with both teams struggling to find consistent results. Both teams are winless in the Big East, UConn at 0-3 and USF at 0-4.

The Huskies have struggled to establish a running game, gaining an average of only 86.9 yards per game on the ground. That's left a good number of games in the hands of sophomore quarterback Chandler Whitmer, who has seven touchdowns to 11 interceptions on the season. The team's saving grace has been defense, which is allowing an average of only 19.3 points per game.

South Florida has struggled on both sides of the ball. The Bulls are giving up an avearge of 28.6 points per game and scoring only 26.5. After opening the season with wins over Cattanooga and Nevada, they've lost six straight games, the latest a 37-36 loss that saw the Syracuse Orange score a touchdown with three seconds remaining to snatch the victory away from USF.
