Prior to the victory over Pitt, the Huskies had dropped four consecutive games, all of which came against opponents inside the conference.

Rutgers still remains atop the Big East with a 4-0 conference record. The team managed to beat Army this past weekend after falling to Kent State. The Scarlet Knights will return to conference play on Saturday when they travel to Cincinnati to challenge the Bearcats.

No. 2 Louisville lost its first game of the season on Saturday when it fell to the Syracuse Orange. The Orange are now tied with Louisville and Rutgers for the most wins in the conference. Louisville will return to conference action on Nov. 24 when it hosts UConn.
