Aaron Rodger earned the NFL's MVP award Saturday night, but there were many other honors handed out during the league's "NFL Honors" primetime special on NBC.

New England Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who finished the year with a NFL-record 5,476 pass yards, earned the league's Offensive Player of the Year honors, while Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs collected the Defensive Player of the Year award.

Suggs ended the season with 70 tackles and 14 sacks for the Ravens, who lost to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game.

The head coach of the NFC runner-ups, San Fransisco 49ers, Jim Harbaugh earned Coach of the Year honors.

Meanwhile, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was a near unanimous decision for the Offensive Rookie of the Year, as the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton took just three of the 47 first-place votes.

There just isn't any love for Tom Brady. That was the case for the 2012 NFL MVP Award, at least, as Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won the award over both Drew Brees of the Saints and Brady of the Patriots.

There just isn't any love for Tom Brady. That was the case for the 2012 NFL MVP Award, at least, as Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers topped both Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints and Brady of the New England Patriots to win the award.

Rodgers received 48 of the 50 votes, with the other two going to Brees. Brady, despite breaking the all-time single season passing record held by Dan Marino, was snubbed. Not a single vote for the man who had 5,235 passing yards and threw for 39 touchdowns this season.

Of course, there is good reason for this. Rodgers and Brees had unbelievable seasons, too. Even more so than Brady, actually. Rodgers finished the 2011 campaign with 4,635 passing yards and 45 touchdown passes while Brees led the league in passing yards with 5,476 passing yards and a league-leading 46 touchdown passes. Pretty good, huh?

Yet Rodgers and Brees won't be playing in the final game of the year. In that sense, Brady wins.
