The Boston Celtics play three games this week, playing twice at home before going on the road on Friday.

Thursday 's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers takes center stage, earning national television coverage. The two games sandwiching the Lakers are significantly less interesting. The Charlotte Bobcats come to the Garden on Tuesday as arguably the worst team in the league having lost 11 straight. The Toronto Raptors are only doing moderately better at 8-17 on the season. The Celtics will be on the road however, where they've compiled a 4-4 record this season.

Here's the complete Celtics weekday schedule with TV/Radio information:

Tuesday, 2/7: Celtics vs. Bobcats (7:30 p.m. ET, TV/Radio: CSN/WEEI)

Thursday, 2/9: Celtics vs. Lakers (8:00 p.m. ET, TV/Radio: TNT)

Friday, 2/10: Celtics at Raptors (7:00 p.m. ET, TV/Radio: ESPN and CSN/WEEI)

As the Boston Celtics try to keep the wins coming against the Memphis Grizzlies at noon EDT on Super Bowl Sunday, they will have to do so without key reserve Brandon Bass, who will miss the game with a knee injury. However, Jermaine O'Neal will play for Boston after having an MRI on his knee Saturday, the results of which will be discussed by him after the game.

"Jermaine O'Neal's fine," said Celtics head coach Doc Rivers (via Celtics on Twitter). "But no Brandon today. I think it's just accumulation of the games. He had some swelling."

Rajon Rondo will be playing in his second game back after injuring his right wrist in the middle of January on a flagrant foul against the Toronto Raptors. Rondo had seven points and seven assists in the Celtics' comeback win over the New York Knicks on Friday night.

"Today's game will be more normal to Rondo than the last game," Rivers said (via Celtics on Twitter). "But he still hasn't had a (real) practice."

Tony Allen is returning to the city where he played for the first six years of his career. The ex-Celtic and current Grizzlies guard said he was "comfortable" and "around a great group of guys" in Memphis, which motivates him. Still, he is happy to be coming back to Boston.

"I love coming back here," Allen said (via Celtics on Twitter). "It's emotional. I've got a resume of winning (with the Celtics)."

Jermaine O'Neal had an MRI on his right knee on Saturday and did not practice.
Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics (12-10) welcome back old friend Tony Allen and his Memphis Grizzlies (12-11) at 12:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday afternoon at TD Garden in Boston, MA (TV/Radio: NBATV,CSNNE/WEEI 93.7 FM/850 AM).

Super Bowl Sunday is upon us, but for those in need of a warm up act, the Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies meet in what should be a tough contest at noon EDT at TD Garden in Boston, MA (TV/Radio: NBATV, CSNNE/WEEI).

Boston and Memphis are two teams struggling to find a groove this season. Both have had sizable winning streaks, only to be broken up by lengthy losing streaks. The Celtics have now won three games in a row and eight out of ten. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have dropped five of their previous seven tilts.

This is the only meeting of the season between the Celtics and Grizzlies. Both teams met twice one season ago, with each winning once. In the season series opener, Pierce scored 28 to lead Boston to a 116-110 win in overtime. But in the season series finale, Memphis prevailed by three, 90-87, behind despite a 22-point performance from Pierce.

The Celtics are coming off a thrilling 91-89 win against the New York Knicks on Friday evening. Pierce scored a game-high 30 points and made several clutch baskets in the fourth quarter, including a three that was later called off (but replays showed it was good), and Ray Allen chipped in with 14 points. Kevin Garnett had 15 points and eight rebounds.

Memphis lost its last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 101-94, on Friday. Marc Gasol led the way with 24 points, eight boards and two blocks for the Grizzlies, who shot 42.5 percent from the field. Rudy Gay added 23 points and former Celtics reserve Tony Allen added 17 points and six boards. O.J. Mayo scored 13 coming off the bench.
