<p>Ryan Anderson notched another double-double, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds, but the Boston College Eagles found themselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard as the Virginia Cavaliers cruised to a 66-49 win on Thursday night.</p>
<p>Anderson wasn't particularly effective from the floor, making only 4-of-11 field goals. Then again, Boston College wasn't effective on the whole -- the Eagles made 18-of-45 field goals to shoot an even 40 percent in their third-straight loss.</p>
<p><a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/145116/lonnie-jackson">Lonnie Jackson</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/145117/dennis-clifford">Dennis Clifford</a> both scored eight points for the Eagles. <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/53404/matt-humphrey">Matt Humphrey</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/123243/danny-rubin">Danny Rubin</a> scored six points apiece and Gabe Moton added five points off the bench, which combined for 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting for BC.</p>
<p>Mike Scott led all scorers with 18 points for Virginia, which was solid from the floor, shooting 50.9 percent (27-for-53). <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99821/jontel-evans">Jontel Evans</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/124618/akil-mitchell">Akil Mitchell</a> each scored 10 points and both Joe Harris and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/25672/sammy-zeglinski">Sammy Zeglinski</a> finished with eight points.</p>
<p>Boston College returns home to face the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/miami-hurricanes">Miami Hurricanes</a> on Sunday afternoon.</p>
