<p><span>Carl Crawford</span>, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain on Saturday, told reporters that <a href="http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2011/06/carl_crawford_h.html" target="_blank">he hopes the return to the lineup between July 1-3</a>, when the Boston Red Sox take on the Houston <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.crawfishboxes.com/">Astros</a>.</p>
<p>Crawford grew up in Houston and said that he definitely doesn't want to be out of action for those games.</p>

<p>Crawford is batting .243 with six home runs, 31 RBI and eight steals in 67 games for Boston.</p>
