<p>It's hardly surprising, but the New England Patriots are the top team in the NFL, earning the No. 1 position in SB Nation's <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2010/12/7/1861211/nfl-power-rankings-week-14-cowboys-broncos" style="color: #c8181d !important; text-decoration: none !important; background-color: transparent;">Week 14 NFL Power Rankings </a>after their dismantling of the New York Jets Monday night. The Jets dropped from No. 3 al the way to No. 9 -- "the Patriots loss was really bad. The Jets have been more like the Bills lately than the class of the AFC."</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px;">The Patriots are now 10-2, tops in the AFC. </p>
<blockquote style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 15px; padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 10px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 10px; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: #eeeeee; margin-top: 12px; margin-right: 5px; margin-bottom: 12px; margin-left: 5px; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; border: 1px solid #cccccc;">
<p style="margin-top: 8px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 0px;">Wow. You wanted this team to prove they're the best in the NFL? They did that with ease against the Jets on Monday night. Who can stop the Patriots?</p>
</blockquote>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px;">The Atlanta Falcons, the other 10-2 team in the NFL, is No. 2 in the rankings. The Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints round out the top-five. </p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px;">The Chicago Bears, the Patriots' Week 14 opponent, comes in at No. 6. </p>
<blockquote style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 15px; padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 10px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 10px; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: #eeeeee; margin-top: 12px; margin-right: 5px; margin-bottom: 12px; margin-left: 5px; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; border: 1px solid #cccccc;">
<p style="margin-top: 8px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 0px;">Every week I think the Bears collapse is coming but they continue to win. It looks like you can count on their Week 17 trip to Green Bay deciding the NFC North.</p>

<p>It was supposed to be the game of the year. The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.ganggreennation.com/">New York Jets</a> against the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.patspulpit.com/">New England Patriots</a>, both teams 9-2, playing for control of the division and the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Instead, it was over by halftime. </p>
<p>The Patriots dominated the Jets in every facet of the game to win 45-3 on a frigid Monday night in Foxboro. So it's little surprise to see New England atop the<a href="http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/12/07/nfl-power-rankings-week-14/"> Week 14 NFL Power Rankings at FanHouse</a>.</p>
<blockquote>
<p>Any questions left? New England's now beaten Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and the Jets in a four-week span, with a Thanksgiving rout of Detroit sprinkled in. If the defense plays like it did Monday, considering how balanced and potent the offense is, the Patriots may be unstoppable. </p>
</blockquote>
<p>The Jets, now 9-3, dropped from No. 4 to No. 7. </p>
<p>The Patriots next face the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.windycitygridiron.com/">Chicago Bears</a>, ranked No. 5 by FanHouse after their fifth straight win. </p>
<blockquote>
<p>Once again, Chicago made it look difficult in rallying past Detroit for win No. 5 in a row. But if the Bears can slow the Patriots' charge next week in Chicago, we'd all have to put them amongst the Super Bowl favorites.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>When New England travels to Chicago on Sunday for their Week 15 matchup, it'll be playoff like conditions: highs in the lower 20s with a chance of snow. </p>
<p>The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/atlanta-falcons">Falcons</a> are No. 2, with the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.canalstreetchronicles.com/">Saints</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/">Steelers</a> rounding out the top-five at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively. </p>
