Avery Bradley will return to practice with the Boston Celtics on Monday after being sidelined all year due to an offseason shoulder injury.

Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley will begin practicing with the team again Monday, according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe. Bradley has not played yet this season and it is unclear how close this means he is to a return.

Bradley underwent surgeries on both shoulders during the offseason and has been sidelined ever since. The shoulder injuries were suffered during last season's playoffs. He was originally tabbed for a mid-December return and had recently begun working out and shooting again.

The third-year pro from the University of Texas will help provide the Celtics with defense and depth once he is able to return to game action. In addition to a reputation for strong defense, Bradley averaged 7.7 points ,1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game last season.

The Celtics finish up a three-game roadtrip on Tuesday when they visit the Chicago Bulls at 8 p.m. ET. After returning to Boston, the Celtics close out the week with home games against Cleveland and Milwaukee.
