Drew</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="../../../mlb/players/85/Victor_Martinez">Victor Martinez</a>, as the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="../../../mlb/teams/boston-red-sox">Boston Red Sox</a> beat the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="../../../mlb/teams/toronto-blue-jays">Toronto Blue Jays</a>, 6-0, to avoid getting swept.</p>
<p>Lester (18-8) gave up four hits, walked four and struck out four for the Red Sox, who had dropped the first two games of the series.</p>
<p><a class="sbn-auto-link" href="../../../mlb/players/1020/Shaun_Marcum">Shaun Marcum</a> (12-8) allowed six runs on nine hits in 5 1/3 innings for the Blue Jays, who were shut out for the eighth time this season -- and third time by Boston.</p>
