Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Adrian Beltre and Jacoby Ellsbury each drove in two runs while Tim Wakefield hurled eight scoreless innings as Boston routed Philadelphia, 8-3, in the rubber match of a three-game set from Citizens Bank Park.

Kevin Youkilis went 2-for-4 with a home run and scored three times for the Red Sox, who took two of three in the series and have won five of six overall.

Wakefield (1-2), the veteran knuckleballer, allowed just five hits and two walks for the win, his first since July 8, 2009.

Ross Gload hit a two-run homer and Raul Ibanez also knocked in a run for the Phillies, who have dropped four of six.

Roy Halladay (6-3) pitched just 5 2/3 innings -- his shortest outing of the season -- and was charged with eight hits and seven runs (six earned), with two walks.

The Red Sox hit the scoreboard in the second when Youkilis tripled off Shane Victorino's glove to start the frame, and came home when Beltre followed with a groundout to first.

Victorino's one-out double in the third went to waste, and the Sox capitalized in the fourth.

Boston loaded the bases with one out, then Phils third baseman Greg Dobbs let a potential double-play ball from Beltre slip through his legs, scoring two runs. The visitors stranded the bases loaded later in the frame when Wakefield grounded to second.

Youkilis made it 4-0 with a leadoff homer in the sixth, then J.D. Drew doubled and Beltre singled. Two batters later, Marco Scutaro's base hit brought in a run. After a sacrifice bunt from Wakefield put two men in scoring position, Ellsbury's dribbler up the middle was fielded by Philly shortstop Juan Castro behind second base, but those runners still scored.

The Sox loaded the bases with two out in the ninth off Danys Baez via a walk, double and throwing error, before Beltre then hit a sac fly to center for an 8-0 contest.

Philadelphia put together a small rally in the home ninth, with Jayson Werth doubling and Ibanez driving him in with a two-bagger. Gload later slugged a pinch-hit two-run blast, but Victorino's fly to center ended the game.

Boston improved to 24-16 all-time in interleague play against the Phillies, which includes a 13-10 record in Philadelphia and 11-4 mark at CBP...The defending NL champs fell to 7-14 against the American League since the start of last season...Halladay's previous shortest start in 2010 came in a no- decision at Colorado on May 12, when he worked 6 1/3 frames.
