Logan Mankins Injury: Offensive lineman will not play against Buffalo, according to report

New England Patriots right guard Logan Mankins did not make the trip to Buffalo for this weekend's matchup with the Bills, and is out for Sunday's game. Via Tom E. Curran of Comcast Sportsnet NE:

Mankins missed practice all week, and was listed as questionable on the New England injury report. Donald Thomas is expected to step in for Mankins along the line.

The Patriots also signed an offensive lineman on Saturday, bringing Matt Tennant back as a stop-gap measure for Sunday's game against Buffalo. Tennant had previously been with New England for three days in early September. New England also has two possibilities to provide line depth in practice squad members Thomas Austin and Jeremiah Warren.

Kickoff between the Patriots and Bills is 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, from Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo.
