New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady received the second most overall votes in fan balloting for the 2013 Pro Bowl, according to an announcement by NFL.com on Thursday afternoon.
Brady received 908,099 votes, which was second only to Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning who received 993,045 nominations.
The roster for the 2013 Pro Bowl will be determined based upon a vote of coaches, fans and players. Fan voting concluded on Monday, Dec. 17. Coaches and players will conduct their voting on Dec. 20 and 21. Each group counts for a third towards the 43-man rosters for the AFC and NFC.
The final rosters will be announced on Wednesday, Dec. 26 on the NFL Network's nightly news show, "Total Access."
While Brady did not receive the most votes for his position, three other Patriots players did. Tight end Rob Gronkowski (646,273), guard Logan Mankins (206,026) and inside-linebacker Jerod Mayo (323,411) all received the most votes of any other player at their positions in the AFC.
