New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is questionable to play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13 as he continues to battle an ankle injury suffered in Week 2. Hernandez was able to play through the pain in the Patriots' win over the Jets on Thanksgiving.
If Hernandez can't go, then the Patriots will be without both of their productive tight ends, as Rob Gronkowski has already been ruled out for the game. Another one of Tom Brady's favorite targets, Wes Welker, is also listed as questionable.
Welker played injured last week and still caught 10 passes with a touchdown, so New England may not be too worried about whether or not he will play.
The Dolphins have been much luckier on the injury front. Miami listed no players as out or doubtful, and running back Jorvorskie Lane is the only name under questionable.
