The Patriots remained fifth in SB Nation's power rankings released Tuesday.

SB Nation released its weekly NFL power rankings Tuesday, and the New England Patriots remain the No. 5-ranked team. The Patriots (8-3) were ranked behind the top-ranked Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens by NFL Editor Joel Thorman.

New England is coming off an easy 49-19 victory over the New York Jets on Thanksgiving Day. Yet, it wasn't impressive enough to move them up in the rankings.

5. New England Patriots (LW: 5, 8-3): Almost seems a little too quiet around New England. They've averaging 37 points per game, which is comically high. They've scored 45 or or more points in four of their games. They're the best offense and it's not even close. The Texans and 49ers should be their only possible slip-ups down the road.

The Patriots remain the highest-ranked team in the AFC East, as the Miami Dolphins (No. 20), Buffalo Bills (No. 23) and New York Jets (No. 25) are all slotted behind them. New England visits the Dolphins on Sunday (1 p.m. ET on CBS).

Overall, the team that made the biggest jump this week was the Cincinnati Bengals, who moved from 17th to 13th with an impressive 34-10 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
