The New England Patriots Wednesday injury report contained a whopping 16 names, including QB Tom Brady, who was limited with a right shoulder injury. Brady was also listed as limited last Wednesday, but played and earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors in the Pats' Week 4 win over the Bills.
Missing from practice on Wednesday were TE Rob Gronkowski (hip), TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle), WR Julian Edelman (hand), S Steve Gregory (hip) and TE Michael Hoomanawanui (concussion). Gronkowski was questionable against the Bills, but played and recorded over 100 yards receiving.
Limited at practice were RB Brandon Bolden (knee), QB Tom Brady (shoulder), DL Brandon Deaderick (ankle), DL Justin Francis (ankle), LB Dont'a Hightower (hamstring), LG Logan Mankins (hip, calf), OL Nick McDonald (shoulder), CB Sterling Moore (knee), RB Shane Vereen (foot) and T Sebastian Vollmer (back). DT Kyle Love (knee) was a full participant. Mankins missed the Buffalo game with his hip injury, but the addition a calf injury is new.
No Denver Broncos missed practice, but LB Nate Irving (concussion) and G Chris Kuper (forearm) were limited.
