The New England Patriots are technically playing a road game against the Rams this week. And while Bill Belichick's club will certainly be on the road, it won't exactly be a hostile environment. The Rams and Pats have the high honor of playing this year's edition of the NFL's showcase game in London at Wembley Stadium. While the travel time is certainly not enviable, it's nice to have a neutral-site contest count as a road game.
With no home field advantage for St. Louis, the odds makers have set the line accordingly. The Patriots opened as 6-point favorites, and that has gone up a point in most places as the week has progressed. The Rams have struggled to score points, with Sam Bradford leading one of the lower-ranked passing attacks in the league. But the New England secondary hasn't exactly put the clamps on their opponents, and the odds makers have set the over/under at 46.5 points.
The Pats are 0-2 straight up and against the spread when facing the NFC West this season. Can they shake those struggles against a Rams team trying to avoid a third consecutive loss?
