Revolution Sign Morrocan National Team Member Zerka

The New England Revolution added a member of the Moroccan National Team to their roster on Thursday.

Forward Monsef Zerka will join the Revolution as soon as his visa is approved, hopefully in time for this weekend's match against Red Bull New York. Zerka spent this year with Greek team Iraklis, and spent the ten years prior playing for French pro clubs FC Nantes and AS Nancy. In 2004, he played for the Moroccan Olympic Team.

Zerka, who turns 30 in two weeks, provides experience to the Revolution's attack as they finish off the last nine games of their schedule. "He is an experienced player who will provide us with another attacking option," said Revs Vice President of Player Personnel Michael Burns.
