With the 2012 NFL season quickly approaching, fantasy football leagues around the country are beginning to prepare for their drafts. Tom Brady will once again be one of the first quarterbacks selected in many fantasy drafts. SB Nation's fantasy sports website, Fake Teams, recently released their 2012 fantasy football rankings and Brady checked in with his usual spot near the top.
Fake Teams ranked Brady as the No. 3 fantasy football quarterback in 2012. It is a familiar spot for Brady, as he was also ranked as the No. 3 quarterback in Fake Teams's 2011 rankings. Only Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are ranked above him in 2012.
Brady's lofty ranking should come as no surprise, as he is fresh off one of the best statistical seasons in his career. Brady threw for a career-best 5,235 yards in 2012, as well as 39 touchdowns, the second highest single-season total of his career.
