The New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints announced on Tuesday that they will hold joint practices on Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 before they play their preseason game on Aug. 9 at Gillette Stadium (ESPN Boston). Times for the practices have not been announced. However, the Aug. 8 practice is listed as a walkthrough on the Saints' website.
The Saints will play in the Hall of Fame Game against the Cardinals on Aug. 5 before the joint practices with the Patriots.
The teams held joint practices before during the 2010 preseason. New England reported an attendance of 16,455 for a practice in August of that year (via ESPN Boston). The Patriots have also held a joint practice with the New York Giants back in 2001.
