The New England Patriots announced that they had released wide receiver Chad Ochocinco on Thursday which prompted a response from the former Patriot.
Ochocinco, 34, played in 15 games (three starts) for the Patriots last season and made just 15 receptions for 276 yards and one touchdown. The 15 receptions tied Ochocinco with Hason Graham for 126th all-time on the Patriots. In the playoffs, Ochocinco caught one pass for 21 yards in Super Bowl XLVI against the New York Giants.
After being released, Ochocinco took to Twitter to respond.

Ochocinco has made 766 receptions for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns in his NFL career. He was acquired by the Patriots in a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals on July 29, 2011.
