Jeremy Ebert Signing: Patriots Sign Seventh-Round Draft Choice

The New England Patriots have reportedly agreed to terms with their seventh-round draft pick Jeremy Ebert (via WEEI).

Ebert (6-0, 195), a wide receiver out of Northwestern, is the second Patriots 2012 NFL Draft pick to sign a contract. Second-round pick Tavon Wilson signed a four-year deal worth $4.217 million, including a $1.507 million signing bonus. Ebert's deal is reportedly worth $2.148 million, including a $48,200 bonus.

Ebert had 75 catches for 1,060 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior for Northwestern. He had 20 total touchdown grabs and 156 catches during his college career.

With Ebert aboard that leaves five Patriots draft selections left to sign, including the No. 21 overall pick, Chandler Jones from Syracuse and the No. 25 overall pick, Dont'a Hightower from Alabama.
