NFL Draft 2012: Luke Kuechly Selected 13th By Arizona Cardinals In Latest Mock Draft

Former Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly was selected 13th by the Arizona Cardinals in the latest SB Nation.com 2012 NFL Mock Draft (via SB Nation).

Kuechly has consistently been called in the first 15 picks of mock drafts and this pick is no exception. Kuechly had an amazing 191 tackles last season (102 solo) during his junior year. He was only two tackles away from tying the all-time FBS record for tackles in a season despite playing in two fewer games than the record holder. Kuechly did win the Bronko Nagurski Trophy for being the best defensive player in college football.

Ryan Van Bibber said about the Cardinals' selection

Nothing against Paris Lenon and Stewart Bradley, but Arizona can do better. Drafting Kuechly gives the defense a center piece, something to tie it all together and prevent a weak middle from undoing what should be a solid secondary and a good front.
