NFL Draft 2012: New England Patriots Have Reportedly Spoken To Seattle Seahawks About Acquiring No. 12 Pick

The New England Patriots are well-known for trading back in the draft in order to accumulate greater value for their picks. But this year, Bill Belichick and his staff might go in an opposite direction.

The Patriots have had discussions with the Seattle Seahawks about moving up to the No. 12 selection in the 2012 NFL Draft, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.

Breer suggests that the Patriots might just be covering their bases and seeing what they would need to surrender to move up, or they could be set on moving up to take a player who won't fall to their current slots near the end of the first round.
