Patriots 2012 Offseason: Wes Welker Reportedly Not At Team's Voluntary Workout On Monday

New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker was not at the team's voluntary workout on Monday, according to a report (via ESPN Boston).

Welker was given the Franchise Tag by the Patriots earlier in the offseason. So far, no long-term deal has been reached with New England. Welker has not decided if he will attend the offseason program.

"Still looking to try and decide on that," Welker said. "I'm in no rush and we'll figure it out. Me and my agent, we're all on the same page with everything. Just looking to move forward and looking forward to the 2012 season."

Welker's franchise tender for the 2012 season would be worth $9.5 million. NFL teams have the middle of July to complete a deal with franchise tagged players such as Welker.

Welker caught 122 passes for 1,569 yards and 9 touchdowns for the Pats last season.
