If it seems like the New England Patriots have signed millions of wide receivers this offseason, well, almost. And you can add Deion Branch to the list to make it a million and one.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Patriots agreed to terms with Branch on a one-year deal to keep the wideout in New England for the 2012 season.
Branch joins Brandon Lloyd, Anthony Gonzalez and Donte Stallworth as wide receivers inked by the Patriots during the 2012 NFL free agency period. The Patriots, loading up on weapons to surround Tom Brady, also used the franchise tag on Wes Welker.
The 32-year old Branch, who caught 51 passes for 702 yards and five touchdowns during the 2011 season, has been quite successful during two stints in New England.
