Just one day after falling in Super Bowl XLVI to the New York Giants, Chad Ochocinco pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor traffic charge in Cincinnati. Ochocinco was cited for failing to produce a valid driver's license during a July 21 traffic stop in Cincinnati.
It should be said that this is not exactly earth-shattering news. Ochocinco was fined $200 on top of $104 in court costs. He was initially charged with a window tint violation and driving with a suspended license. He has since gotten a new, valid license, and has otherwise been a model citizen during his time with the New England Patriots.
Ochocinco was brought into New England as a potential game-changing deep threat for Tom Brady. Instead, he finished the season with just 16 receptions through the regular season and the playoffs. He did record a 21-yard reception during Sunday's Super Bowl.
