Super Bowl XLVI Score Update: Patriots Lead Giants 10-9 Thanks To Last-Second Touchdown

After stopping the Giants for the second time in the second quarter, the Patriots were once again pinned back deep in their own side of the field, thanks to another great punt by Steve Weatherford. After a false start penalty, the Patriots backed themselves up even farther. They started at first-and-12 on their own two-yard line, and the last time they were in this position, they gave up two points to the Giants on a safety thanks to an intentional grounding penalty while Tom Brady was in the end zone.

Things were different this time, though. Brady led the Patriots offense 98 yards down the field in 14 plays and the drive was capped off by a four-yard touchdown pass to running back Danny Woodhead.

After taking a one-point lead, the Patriots kicked off to the Giants, who took a knee and headed into the locker room. The Patriots get the ball back to start the second half and with a one-point lead, things are starting to look up for Brady and company.
