2012 Super Bowl: Bill Belichick Sits Down With NFL Network's Michael Lombardi

Before the New England Patriots take the field for Super Bowl XLVI, their head honcho Bill Belichick was able to sit down with NFL Network's Michael Lombardi for the Super Sunday Sitdown.

After discussing the difference between this team and the other seven teams Belichick has been involved with in a Super Bowl, he goes into the moment he realized this year's team could compete for a Super Bowl. That moment was, believe it or not, after a Week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Belichick notes how the team battled despite falling behind 10-0 after the first quarter in a rabid environment. New England lost the next week to their opponent today and then rattled off eight straight wins.

There's plenty more to hear, so check out the full interview here.
