The inactives for the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI have been released, with the Pats down seven players, including veteran running back Kevin Faulk and linebacker Gary Guyton. Rounding out the list of inactives are Ryan Mallett, Shane Vereen, Donald Thomas, Nick McDonald and Ron Brace.
Faulk is the longest tenured Patriot and has been seldom used all season, but as a fan favorite, this is hard news for a man that has represented the Patriots franchise so well during his career.
