Rob Gronkowski Injury: Patriots Tight End Will Play In Super Bowl

New England Patriots inactives list is a few hours away from being released, but tight end Rob Gronkowski will play in Sunday's Super Bowl. According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Gronkowski is a go for the Super Bowl despite battling a high ankle sprain that has been analyzed to death for the best two weeks.

"As agent Drew Rosenhaus told NBC SportsTalk this week, Gronkowski wouldn’t play if it wasn’t the Super Bowl. And Gronkowski may end up having surgery after the game."

Of course, Gronk is going to play that really wasn't the question all week. The real question is, how effective will the 6-foot-6, 256 pound tight end be with a bum wheel?

SB Nation Boston's Gethin Coolbaugh asked and answered this question earlier in the day.
