The 2012 Senior Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, continuing the long-standing all-star exhibition that has been played annually since 1950 and held in Mobile, Alabama since 1951.
After attracting some of the best football talent in the nation for 62 consecutive editions -- 63 come Saturday -- the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame includes some of football's brightest names. Paul "Bear" Bryant, Tom Landry, Joe Greene, Walter Payton, Bo Jackson and Dan Marino are among the players inducted into the game's Hall of Fame.
As is customary, the players selected to participate in this year's Senior Bowl have competed in practices all week, coached by NFL coaching staffs and scouted by hundreds of NFL talent evaluators. The game kicks off Saturday at 3 p.m.
