Tom Brady was at Thursday's practice as the New England Patriots' quarterback and the rest of the team continue to gear up for Super Bowl XLVI, in which they will face the New York Giants on February 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Brady attended a bye week practice for the first time this season, as noted by WEEI.com's Mike Petraglia. Brady has a sprained AC joint in his shoulder, but is not expected to miss any time. Brady threw for 5,235, yards and 39 touchdowns in the regular season and has thrown for 632 yards and six touchdowns in two postseason games.
Rob Gronkowski, who is continuing to recover from an ankle injury, was one of two Patriots players missing from Thursday's practice. Tight end Carson Butler, recently signed to the team's practice quad, was also not seen.
