The New England Patriots took a 10-3 lead over the Baltimore Ravens in the second quarter of the AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium on a BenJarvus Green-Ellis 7-yard touchdown run. Green-Ellis' run on the inside hand off from Tom Brady finished off a 10-play, 75-yard drive for the Patriots that took 3:46 off the clock.
Green-Ellis has had a very good game so far with 47 yards on 7 carries (6.7 yards per carry). Thirty-six of Green-Ellis' yards came on the touchdown drive. He had two runs that went for double-digit yards on the drive. If Green-Ellis can keep running the ball for the yards per carry he is averaging, the Ravens' defense could start to wear down in the second half of the game.
