Patriots, Rams Will Travel To London For 2012 NFL Regular Season Contest

The St. Louis Rams will host the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium on October 28, 2012 in an NFL Regular Season game.

The New England Patriots will travel to London next season to face the St. Louis Rams in road game. The game is scheduled for October 28, 2012 at Wembley Stadium.

Not only will the Rams "host" the Patriots next season, but they're scheduled to host games in London for the next three seasons:

CBS will provide live television coverage of the contest. The Rams will serve as the home team for this year's contest, and the team has reached an agreement to play a home game at Wembley Stadium in 2013 and 2014 as well.

The Patriots are familiar with traveling overseas to play an NFL regular season game, as they did so in 2009, when they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35 to 7 in week seven of the regular season. Tom Brady threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns in the Pats fifth win that season.
