Broncos Vs. Patriots, 2012 NFL Playoffs: Weather Forecast Frigid

If you are attending the Broncos vs. Patriots divisional round meeting in the 2012 NFL Playoffs, bring a heavy jacket. And a hat. And mittens. And hand warmers, if those are your thing. And possibly a blanket, long johns or an igloo.

The Saturday night weather at Gillette Stadium is supposed to be frigid for kickoff of the 8 p.m. game, and the temperature is only expected to drop as the clock strikes closer to midnight. According to Weather.com, the temperature is supposed to be 23 degrees at kickoff and gradually fall to 17 degrees by 12 a.m.

It's unlikely to snow at Gillette on Saturday night -- Weather.com predicts just a 10 percent chance of precipitation -- but the freezing cold weather should remind Tom Brady and the New England Patriots of a few prior postseason bouts.
