NFL Power Rankings, Week 3: Patriots Ranked No. 2 After San Diego Win

Tom Brady picked apart his second straight opposing defense on Sunday, this time tearing apart the San Diego Chargers defense for 423 passing yards and three touchdowns. Through two games, Brady has 940 passing yards.

That alone has been good enough to earn the Patriots a No. 2 ranking in the latest SB Nation NFL Power Rankings for Week 3, with Joel Thorman looking forward to a spectacular year from Brady and company.

2. New England Patriots (2-0, LW: 3): 940 passing yards for Tom Brady through two games. This is going to be a fun season to watch.

Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers remained on top of the SB Nation power rankings after topping the Carolina Panthers, 30-23. Thorman also writes that, until the Packers prove otherwise, they're staying in the top spot.

Rounding out the top ten are the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions.

The Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs round out the bottom eight teams in the SB Nation rankings.
