Patriots Vs. Lions: Tom Brady, Pats Couldn't Really Get Into Rhythm

So much for focusing on the tempo. Tom Brady and the Patriots just never found their comfort zone and couldn't put together more than two successful drives in their 34-10 loss to the Detroit Lions on Saturday night at Ford Field.

Brady, who threw for 145 yards and a touchdown - as well as a rare interception - on 12-of-22 passing, admitted so after the game, telling the media that

"From the first series on, we just could never really get into rhythm," Brady said in his postgame press conference. "It was just a bad night all around. We don't make excuses for it, it just wasn't a good night. We didn't play the way we needed to play - miss open receivers, and a careless interception there - you're not going to win games if you play like that. There's only one way to get better, just get out to practice, get back to work. Try to improve the things that we didn't do very well and hopefully play better next week."
