Logan Mankins became a key figure in the NFL Lockout, as he and Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson held up a new agreement requesting $10 million each or unrestricted free agency, leading some to think that Mankins would pose a hassle to New England Patriots management when it came to contract talks.
However, it appears that Mankins will be a good soldier by signing the one-year franchise tender that the Pats gave him, meaning that he will not be holding out of camp for the second straight season.
Pro Bowl G Logan Mankins, who held out first half of last season, plans to sign franchise tender and report to training camp on time.
