Ty Law Wants To Retire A Patriot

Ty Law announced that he would like to retire as a member of the New England Patriots, expressing his interest in signing a one-day deal with the franchise to bring his career to a close.

"That would be ... that's one of the reasons I haven't officially turned my papers in because I would like to at least say the last contract I sign was with New England," Law said. "That would be an honor if I was able to do that, if Mr. Kraft was to bless me with something like that, that would be the icing on the cake for a 15-year career." (via WEEI)

Law, a five-time Pro Bowler, played with the Patriots for 10 seasons, totaling 542 tackles, 36 interceptions and six touchdowns. In 15 NFL seasons, Law had 713 tackles and 53 interceptions.
