Jordan Todman, a 5'9", 190-pound running back and native of North Dartmouth, MA, was drafted with the 18th pick in the sixth round (No. 183 overall) by the San Diego Chargers in the 2011 NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Todman, who played three seasons at the University of Connecticut, racked up 3,179 career rushing yards and 31 touchdowns on 616 carries. In 2010, Todman rushed for 1,695 yards and 14 touchdowns on 334 carries.
In 13 games last season, Todman rushed for over 100 yards ten times and ran for more than 150 yards on five occasions. In the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Todman rushed for 121 yards on 32 carries in UConn's 48-20 loss to Oklahoma.
