2011 NFL Draft Picks, New England Patriots: Ryan Mallett, Nate Solder Highlight Picks

With minutes left until the 2011 NFL Draft resumes with Rounds 4-7, let's take a minute to gather ourselves and take a look at the players that Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have drafted so far on Thursday and Friday.

Round 1, No. 28 - Nate Solder (OT - Colorado Buffaloes)
Round 2, No. 33 - Ras-I Dowling (CB - Virginia Cavaliers)
Round 2, No. 56 - Shane Vereen (RB - California Golden Bears)
Round 3, No. 73 - Stevan Ridley (RB - LSU Tigers)
Round 3, No. 74 - Ryan Mallett (QB - Arkansas Razorbacks)

All in all, not a bad haul for the Patriots, but we won't know that for sure for several years. Mallett is certainly the biggest name that pops out on this list, yet he was the last one drafted. This draft class isn't particularly exciting so far, but by all means, it has the potential to be very effective.Remember, the Patriots care about one thing, and one thing only, when it comes to the NFL Draft: value.

New England has four picks in Rounds 4-7 on Saturday afternoon, with its first pick coming at No. 138 overall in the fifth round. Here's a look at the Pats' remaining draft picks.

Patriots Draft Picks:

Round 5, No. 138 (from Houston Texans)
Round 5, No. 159
Round 6, No. 193 (from New Orleans Saints)
Round 7, No. 219 (from Oakland Raiders)
