Round Two Mock Draft: Mel Kiper Projects Brooks Reed To Patriots At No. 33

Mel Kiper's round two mock draft is out, and just in time for what should be be a busy night for the New England Patriots.

New England owns the first pick in the second round (No. 33 overall, via a trade with the Carolina Panthers last year), along with picks No. 56 (via Thursday night's New Orleans trade) and No. 60. They have picks No. 74 and 92 in the third round later Friday night.

In his mock draft, Mel Kiper has the Patriots going defense with their first pick, followed by a couple offensive players:

33. Brooks Reed, DE, Arizona

Natural pass-rushing threat in the 3-4 defensive scheme.

56. Rodney Hudson, C, Florida State

New England needed help along the offensive line. It got Nate Solder in Round 1. It'll get more help here.

60. Mikel Leshoure, RB, Illinois

New England opted to pass on Mark Ingram in Round 1. Leshoure adds a new dimension to the Pats' running game.
