NFL Draft 2011: Best Available In Round 2

The first round of the 2011 NFL Draft is in the books, but that doesn't mean there still isn't talent to be found. Pats Pulpit, SB Nation's New England Patriots blog, takes a look at the best available players entering Round 2 on Friday night.

Da'Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson Tigers

Akeem Ayers, OLB, UCLA Bruins

Aaron Williams, CB, Texas Longhorns

Kyle Rudolph, TE, Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Andy Dalton, QB, TCU Horned Frogs

Mikel Leshoure, RB, Illinois Fighting Illini

Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas Razorbacks

Making matters more interesting, the Patriots will have their pick at any and all of these talented players. Or, none of them at all, as Pats Pulpit predicts that head coach Bill Belichick will trade away the first pick in the second round (No. 33 overall).

With the Bills picking at #34 and the Bengals drafted at #35, teams will have to move up to grab a quarterback. The Patriots should profit from a serious bidding war and I wouldn't be surprised if they receiver similar value, if not more, at #33 than they received at #28. I don't expect the Patriots to pick again until the middle of the second round. By that point, the draft board should be more clear.
