Andre Tippett To Announce Patriots' Second Round Picks At 2011 NFL Draft

For the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, each team's pick will be made by a "legendary NFL alumni," making the  first time in NFL Draft history that every selection of a round has been announced by former players.

The New England Patriots' representative for their second round picks -- Nos. 33 and 60 overall -- will be Andre Tippett, a linebacker from 1982-93. Tippett, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

Other notable NFL alumni scheduled to be on-hand at Radio City Music Hall Friday night to make the second round announcements include Charles Haley (Cowboys), Richard Dent (Bears), Shannon Sharpe (Broncos), Barry Sanders (Lions) Marshall Faulk (Rams) and John Lynch (Buccaneers). For teams without a second round pick -- the Panthers, Dolphins and Jets -- they representative will announce the third round selection.

The 2011 NFL Draft will continue the three-day format introduced in 2010, beginning with the first round, broadcast in primetime at 8:00 pm ET on Thursday, April 28.
