2011 NFL Mock Draft: J.J. Watt, Brooks Reed To Patriots In First Round

J.J. Watt and Brooks Reed are projected to the New England Patriots in the latest mock draft update from Mocking The Draft, SB Nation's NFL mock draft blog.

Watt, a 6'5", 290-pound defensive end from Wisconsin, is projected to be drafted by New England with the No. 17 overall pick while Reed, a 6'3", 262-pound defensive end from Arizona, is projected to the Patriots at No. 28 overall.

In two seasons with the Badgers, Watt finished with 106 tackles (75 solo), two forced fumbles and one interception. Reed finished his college career at Arizona with 107 tackles (71 solo) and 17 sacks.

Mocking The Draft also predicts that the Patriots will draft Baylor offensive guard Danny Watkins with the first pick of the second round (33rd overall). In addition, MTD has New England selecting Miami defensive end Allen Bailey in the second round with the 60th overall pick.

Bailey racked up 106 career tackles (58 solo) and had 19 sacks in four seasons with the Hurricanes.
