Rodgers passed to Jordy Nelson for a 29-yard score with 3:51 left in the first quarter, putting Green Bay up 7-0.
On the ensuing drive, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethelisberger (4-for-8, 20 yards) was intercepted by Nick Collins, who returned the ball 37 yards for a touchdown, giving the Packers a 14-0 advantage with 3:34 left in the quarter.
Green Bay had 108 total yards and Pittsburgh racked up 71 total yards in the opening quarter.
