Patriots Injury Report: Brandon Spikes Sees Limited Action In Thursday Practice

The New England Patriots released their injury report today as they prepare to take on the Washington Redskins. Linebacker Brandon Spikes returned to practice in a limited role on Thursday and appeared to be wearing a knee brace (via NESN).

The Patriots held the following players out of practice on Thursday:

OT Sebastian Vollmer (back, foot) 
RB Stevan Ridley (not injury related)

The following players were limited in practice today for the Patriots:

CB Kyle Arrington (foot)
S Pat Chung (foot) 
C Dan Connolly (groin) 
WR Julian Edelman (back) 
LB Dane Fletcher (thumb) 
S James Ihedigbo (shoulder) 
CB Devin McCourty (shoulder) 
LB Brandon Spikes (knee) 
WR Matthew Slater (shoulder) 
RB Shane Vereen (hamstring) 
WR Wes Welker (knee) 
C Ryan Wendell (calf) 
RB Danny Woodhead (abdomen)

S LaRon Landry (groin) and DL Chris Baker (quad) were held out of Redskins practice on Thursday. The following players were limited in practice: WR Terrence Austin (Hamstring), DE Stephen Bowen (Knee), T Jammal Brown (Hip), LB London Fletcher (Ankle) S DeJon Gomes (Knee), CB DeAngelo Hall (Back),G Maurice Hurt (Knee), P Sav Rocca (Ankle). QB Rex Grossman (Left Shoulder) and FB Darrel Young (Head) were not limited in practice today.
