Patriots, Broncos Game On Dec. 18 Won't Be Flexed To Sunday Night Football

The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos' game on Sunda, December 18 will not be flexed to the evening time slot on NBC's Sunday Night Football and will remain at its current 4:15 p.m. EDT slot on CBS.

NBA and CBS had a Tuesday deadline to decide whether or not they would swap games, with NBC scheduled to air the Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers game at 8:20 p.m., but the NFL extended it to Wednesday.

Of course, with the Patriots scheduled to play the Washington Redskins this Sunday, the Pats-Broncos game is not even on the radar of Pats' head coach Bill Belichick.

"I don't really care about the Broncos game right now," Belichick said. "I'm worried about the Washington game. I don't really care about it. When they tell us to play, we're going to show up and play the game. When it happens, it happens. Right now, I'm worried about Washington." (via WEEI)
