The Patriots made a roster move on Wednesday, adding 23-year-old Dorin Dickeron to the practice squad, according to a report from WEEI.com. New England had an extra spot on the squad after Nick McDonald joined the 53-man roster last week to start on the offensive line.
More on Dickerson after the jump.
Dickerson was drafted by the Texans in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played his college football at Pittsburgh. WEEI.com has more background:
As a rookie, he played in seven games mainly on special teams. Dickerson, 6-2, 227 pounds, was released by Houston on Sept. 3, 2011 and was then signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad on Sept. 12 before being released on Sept. 15. During his college career, he played at wide receiver, linebacker and tight end.
